April 4th Pacific Coliseum Extravaganza will Celebrate the Best of Bollywood Song and Dance
The Times of India Film Awards, presented by THIND Properties, is pleased to announce that two new world class artists, Kavita Seth and Hans Raj Hans, have joined the already amazing line up for the April 4th Musical Extravaganza at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. This spectacular night of Bollywood music and dance is one of the marquee events of the 2013 Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA 2013) inaugural event week.

Featured artists at this special concert include:
· Kavita Seth– An award winning playback singer highlighted in many Hindi films who has a number of hit songs including ‘Iktaara’ from Wake Up Sid, ‘Mora Piva’ from Rajineeti, and most recently topped the charts in 2012 when she sang for Diana Penty in Tumhi Ho Bandhu.
· Hans Raj Hans– This noted Sufi artist is a Padam Shree Awardee, the highest civilian award, presented by President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil for his inimitable and significant contribution in the field of music.
· Sunidhi Chauhan– India’s most versatile female playback singer best known for her peppy and foot-tapping numbers is sure to get the crowd up and dancing.
· Mohit Chauhan– Best known for his romantic ballads, this Indian pop and playback singer, is a multiple award winning artist who is touted as the best voice that suits Ranbir Kapoor’s onscreen persona after the success of Rockstar and Barfi, Mohit Chauhan is now set to rock Vancouver!
· Hard Kaur– The face of hip hop in India, Hard Kaur has to her credit some of India’s most popular dance tracks which she is looking forward to perform at the concert.
· Shalmali Kholgade– Award winning singer known for her magical voice and her versatility in songs such as ‘Lat Lag Gayee’ from Race 2, ‘Pareshaan’ from Ishaazade and her recent hit song ‘Daaru Desi’ from Cocktail.
· Shiamak Davar– Multifaceted Choreographer and Singer, Shiamak is the Guru of Modern and Contemporary dance and has popularized Bollywood dance the world over.
Celebrating the Hindi film industry and its outstanding movies and personalities, the first edition of TOIFA will be held April 4th – April 6th, 2013 at various locations throughout the city.
The three-day celebration includes musical performances by some of Bollywood’s biggest musicians at a special concert to be held at the Pacific Coliseum on April 4th, a Nominations Gala and Technical Awards celebration on April 5th, and a grand Awards Ceremony at BC Place on April 6th.
The Awards Ceremony will be packed with performances and acts by top Indian celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan and more.
