Gwen Stefani‘s No Doubt band-mates fear she will be inadvertently responsible for leaking their new material because she insists on taking home a Cd of their tracks at the end of each recording session.
The Don’t Speak hit-makers reunited in 2011 and released their first album in 11 years last year (12) – and the band is already at work on the follow-up.
Stefani admits her band-mates constantly worry that she will accidentally misplace one of the demo discs she leaves the studio with before they are ready to release the new songs.
She tells reporters, “The band has been writing new music for a few months now. My favorite part is getting the demo Cd at the end of a session and blasting it in my car. I love to listen to it. I’m the only one still using Cds and everyone is panicked I’ll lose one. I’ve been lucky so far, though!”
