Ingredients:
Butter: 200 grams
Fine Sugar: 200 grams
All-purpose flour: 200 grams
Baking Powder: 2 teaspoons
Eggs: 4
Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon
Cocoa Powder: 2-1/2 tablespoons
Milk: 6-7 tablespoons
Method:
1.) Preheat the oven at 375 degrees. Oil spray the baking dish and keep aside.
2.) Sift flour and baking powder together 2-3 times and keep aside.
3.) Beat sugar and butter together till they are mixed well.
4.) Add eggs one by one to the sugar/butter mixture and beat well.
5.) Add vanilla essence to the mixture and mix.
6.) Fold in the flour into the mixture with a wooden spoon.
7.) Pour half the vanilla mixture in the greased baking pan. Then in another bowl mix cocoa powder and milk together. Pour the chocolate mixture over the vanilla mixture in the pan. Pour the rest of the vanilla mixture and move a toothpick across the three layers.
8.) Bake for 40-45 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean. Cool the cake and enjoy!
