Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez has become has become the latest to join the elite club of celebrities, commemorated with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The award-winning superstar, who began her career as an actress before branching out into the music industry and becoming a global sensation, will be awarded the special honour to mark her stellar career.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, says, “In 1994, Sophia Loren became the recipient of the 2,000th star on the Walk of Fame.
This ceremony marks the 2,500th star on our famous Walk and Jennifer Lopez was the obvious choice! Fans from across the world will be thrilled to experience this special star ceremony.”
Last year, Lopez was named the Most Powerful Celebrity in the World by editors at Forbes Magazine.
