Happiness – a state of mind

What is actually happiness? It has vanished nowadays in every part of the world. Everybody is in the search of it but no one can define it and cannot even prescribe the path to it. According to me happiness is in what you do, what you think and what you feel because it is a general feeling or an emotion which one feels when he is relaxed and when there is peace and harmony. Everybody have different point of views for happiness. According to poor people happiness is money and for rich people happiness is in peace of mind. But no! Happiness is not in such things but it is in you. You have to search it in your self by focusing on those things which makes you happy like different activities and all. One of the best ways to boost your happiness is focusing on your strengths rather than weaknesses. So you should focus on positive aspects of your life rather than negative. It is the philosophy of happiness. According to Winston Churchill “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
Happiness lengthens life of healthy people and it protects you from falling ill but on the other hand chronic unhappiness causes stress which in turn reduces immune response.
Nowadays, vacations have started so, everyone is getting bored and finding some way out to be happy and entertained. This word “BORED” is a routine word now which we hear now and then from children to elders. According to a study planning for a vacation trip can boost happiness in a person. So there should be a small trip for children so that there minds get fresh also, there are so many classes going nowadays which they can join and makes themselves busy.
The condition of the world is at its worst but keeping yourself happy in that situation makes you more active and tension free. Staying tension free is not an easy thing to do but focusing more on your life may help you to come out of it. Happiness is hidden in minor things which you have to search it. Our mind boggles over so many things but sometimes that mind needs relaxation so, for the sake of your mind find happiness around you whether in your family, friends, old memories, pictures, movies, songs, remembering Allah, whatever you think makes you happy. We are becoming sensitive now and gets frustrated within a second because our mind is so much occupied with so many things. This is not good for children and youngsters especially because these young minds are our future if they are so much impatient than how can they survive with lots of tensions in future? So, every young mind need to be calmed and relaxed.
