Priyanka Chopra’s father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away this afternoon after fighting a long battle with cancer. Dr Chopra was admitted to local Mumbai hospital a few days ago after his cancer recurred.
He had been critically ill and was on life support for the last few days. His wife Madhu, his son Siddharth and daughter Priyanka have constantly been by his side.
Priyanka had earlier conducted a prayer for him. She also postponed all her shoots and rehearsals to care for her father.
