Victoria Beckham will not be touring with the Spice Girls next year.
An Australian radio host claimed the female group to tour Australia in 2014 – and went on to say that a “very reliable source” had promised Victoria would be very much part of the gigs.
However, a spokesman for the fashion designer yesterday denied Posh would be involved in a possible tour.
She insisted: “Victoria has no plans to tour with the Spice Girls in 2014. Her future focus concerns her family and fashion business.”
Victoria’s absence does not rule out the other four Spices – Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm – reforming for gigs.
They’ve got a huge following Down Under – so it’s not unlikely that they’d be thinking about agreeing a tour which would be absolutely guaranteed to generate some serious cash.
The girls will just need to decide who takes over pointing duties from Victoria.
