One Direction star Zayn Malik is hoping to attend university so he can fulfill his dream of studying English literature.
The 20-year-old singer has missed out on the chance to take up a place at college after shooting to fame with the boy-band, but he plans to further his education as soon as he gets a break from pop stardom.
Malik tells Britain’s The Sun, “If I wasn’t doing this, I’d be at uni. I wanted to, and still quite want to, do an English degree. It’s frustrating because I don’t get any time to read on tour.”
