Singer/actress Miley Cyrus has invited The Roots to go on tour with her next year (14) after they joined forces to perform an a cappella version of her hit We Can’t Stop on U.S. Tv on Tuesday night (Oct 8th 2013).
The former Hannah Montana star was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and she recruited the show’s house band, hip-hop group The Roots, and host Jimmy Fallon to film the special set, in which they appeared in a colourful Brady Bunch-style grid to beatbox and harmonise on the track.
The pre-taped performance aired at the start of the talk show, and Cyrus was so happy with the collaboration, she admitted it would be perfect for her concert tour next year (2014).
At the top of her interview, she said, “That was sweet, we should bring that on tour when I go on the road next year.”
