Kanye West is back on the road, and it appears he’s decided not to stop “talking s**t” after all. Though the rapper told an audience in Toronto late last year that he was thinking of keeping his mouth sealed for a good six months or so, this week he’s making headlines yet again for one of his signature “rants.”
These unguarded moments, which usually take place during West’s extended rendition of “Runaway,” have become a staple of his Yeezus tour. They’ve also provided a steady stream of controversy and, by extension, headlines for the performer, a phenomenon he discussed at Saturday evening’s show in Newark, New Jersey.
