Avril Lavigne said “I do” on Monday! The star married fellow Nickelback rocker Chad Kroeger in Cannes, France on Canada Day, according to sources.
So far, there are few details about the wedding, though it was described as a “very intimate affair” by a source. Word has it Lavigne’s gay best friend served as her maid of honor and her dress was designed by Johanna Johnson. And, former X Factor judge L.A. Reid was there for their big day.
The pint-sized rocker said about her nuptials in an interview recently: “I’ve been doing it, I’m the girl. I’m the one who has the crazy vision and he’s letting me be me. It’s a lot and I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time.”
She and the Nickelback singer announced their engagement in August 2012. This is Lavigne’s second marriage and Kroeger’s first.
