Shahrukh Khan's 'Challa' this week's most-viewed YouTube video

Shahrukh Khan’s first soundtrack “Challa” from the much-anticipated film of the year, “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” has created a global frenzy and is the most-viewed video worldwide on YouTube this week. On Friday, October 5, 2012, King Khan tweeted a screenshot with the statistics and thanked fans for the overwhelming response.
The song has had over two million views since being unveiled on the Yash Raj Films channel on September 30.
With music by AR Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar, “Challa” features the mesmerizing vocals of the Punjabi-Sufiyana singer, Rabbi Shergill.
Making the most of the guitar fever that has caught on with the fans, Yash Raj Films uploaded a video on YouTube, exclusively for their subscribers, where King Khan shares his “guitar learning” experience.
Describing the adventure as “a lot of fun” Shahrukh Khan says that he aimed to look “realistic and nonchalant” while he strums the chords of the guitar.
Well, realistic or not – considering the immense popularity that the track has received, it is imperative to say that the star power of SRK is intact. Even after two decades in the industry, the 46-year ‘young’ actor manages to enthrall fans with his dimpled smile and his striking screen presence.
