The Rock and His Muscles Land a Reality Show

He’s played a CIA agent and a tooth fairy on the big screen, so apparently the next logical step for The Rock is to head to the tube for a reality show. Deadline reports the studly 41-year-old has just signed on for a TNT show tentatively titled Wake Up Call. And, no, it’s not about him waking up for his insane workout routine (though it IS insane).
Instead, Dwayne Johnson and his team will head out the door at 4am to pay visits to normal people who are facing extreme challenges in their lives and need help. The Rock to the rescue, basically. We’re sure his muscles will make their way into the plot somehow too.
TNT has ordered up eight episodes to start with and the show will premiere sometime in 2014.
