Talking about her early life, she said that her life had been a bit of a fairly tale. Remembering her days in the US where she finished her high school, she said that she was usually referred to as Brownie there.
Her initial foray in Bollywood was nothing short of a struggle. “I had no godfather in the film industry, yet I went on to win a national award for Fashion, despite people telling me not to do the movie.”
Saying that she does not consider herself as being the prettiest Bollywood heroine, she said, “I am not the prettiest of all, I am not Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.”
