American Idol finalist Pia Toscano has already scored a record deal, according to Us magazine. The twenty-two year old, who hails from Queens, was booted from Fox on Thursday, but she’ll reportedly record her debut album at an Interscope imprint, helmed by her Idol pal Jimmy Iovine, “ASAP.”
Interscope brass are supposedly calling in producers and songwriters to help. Presumably, Pia will also get better at talking to reporters: “You don’t know for sure why things happen, but you know it did,” she said of her sendoff.
