Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter has poked fun at his kid brother’s recent run in with an alleged gang of New Kids On The Block fans, insisting he’s not convinced the singer fought off attackers.
Aaron Carter posted shots of himself sporting a black eye and bloodied knuckles online over the weekend (23Jun13) and claimed he had been jumped by fans of his brother’s former pop rivals during a night out in Boston, Massachusetts.
The I Want Candy hit-maker told Twitter.com followers his martial arts expertise came in handy during the street brawl, revealing he is a “6th degree black belt in Muay Thai” – a boast that came as a surprise to big brother Nick.
He tells Boston radio show Mix104.1, “He is not a black belt in anything. Dancing, maybe. Dance fighting.”
And he’s not convinced Aaron is being honest with his fans: “We’ve got, like, a pass in this town… and it’s just a little strange the way the whole situation went down. But you know, it’s my brother. He’s young. I was young one time… I really don’t know what happened.”
