Dance DJ/producer Calvin Harris has been named the U.K.’s most successful songwriter for the second consecutive year.
The Scottish star was previously hailed as the best-selling songwriter in the British charts of 2011 by editors of Music Week magazine, and they have now announced he was also the U.K.’s most prolific hit-maker of 2012.
Harris, who has written for artists including Rihanna and Cheryl Cole, saw off competition from second-placed Australian singer Sia Furler, who has provided tracks for Madonna and Christina Aguilera.
