The first Grammy nominations were announced on Friday night during an hour-long concert special on CBS hosted by LL Cool J., Jay Z, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and New Zealand newcomer Lorde were among the big nominees, but pop superstars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift also scored major nods.
