According to reports, the reality star submitted divorce documents and requested to have “Odom” officially removed from her name.
Insiders tell reporters she filed with the help of celeb divorce attorney Laura Wasser and cited irreconcilable differences. The split should be fairly straightforward, considering they have a very clear prenup. Their assets are all kept separate and they don’t have any children together. Khloe Kardashian apparently did not ask for spousal support and wants the judge to block Lamar from attempting to get a cent out of her.
Apparently the final straw in the relationship came after the former NBA star Lamar Odom filmed a weird freestyle rap video that included lines about cheating on Khloe. Smooth, right? After that hit the Web, she stopped wearing her ring and it was pretty clear that the hopes of reconciliation were slim to none.
Though this was our favorite Kardashian relationship, it’s sort of surprising these two made it this far — four years of marriage. They got married exactly one month after they met back in 2009.
