There’s nothing funny about being a 48-year-old grandfather, unless you’re Jim Carrey.
The comedian’s 22-year-old daughter, Jane, gave birth to a baby boy Friday in Los Angeles, according to Jim’s twitter update
Singer Jane Carrey and her husband, Blood Money frontman Alex Santana, brought Jackson Riley Santana into the world at 12:28 am.
The baby was born a few days shy of its March 3 due date and and weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz.
Carrey could not keep his excitement to himself earlier in the week.
“Something beautiful is right around the corner! ;^)” the actor wrote on Twitter Tuesday. Then, on Friday morning, he tweeted an addendum, “right around the corner! ;^)”
Meanwhile, Carrey’s girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy, kept things a little more cryptic. “TGIF,” the blonde bombshell wrote Friday on her Twitter.
