Chicken with skin or 8-10 drumsticks
Gram flour sieved – 1 cup
Cornflour – 1 cup
Salt – 1 tsp for marination… + 1/2 teaspoon for coating
Black pepper – 1 tsp (optional)
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 3 medium sized lemons
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Squeeze the lemons into a big bowl and add 1 tsp of salt to it. Mix the juice and the song together. Put the defrosted chicken pieces into the juice mixture, ensuring that all pieces get properly coated with it. Cover the bowl with a lid and put it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. For best taste, marinate for around 12 hours.
For the coating, put the Gram flour, corn flour, salt, black pepper and red chillies into a bowl and thoroughly mix with your hands.
For cooking, pour around 3-4 cups of oil into a pre-heated Karahi. heat the oil on maximum heat. While the oil is heating, take a clean plastic bad and put one cup of the coating mixture in it. Put 2-3 pieces of chicken at one time into the bag, and shake it for 5-10 seconds. Place the coated pieces onto a tray. Sprinkle the remaining mixture over them.
Deep fry at maximum heat. Serve with french fries and whatever else you may want to eat with it.

Love, a word that represents so much yet tends to leave us hollow. For as long as man has come into being, and even before that, love has existed. The first evidence of a man-woman love that humanity knows of is Hazarat Adam (AS) [Adam] running around and praying to the Lord to find Hazarat Amma Hawa (AS) [Eve]. Their love was pure and unadulterated of any ulterior motives. Finding that kind of love seems impossible in today’s world. Why? Because we all have come to be selfish in one form or the other. The sense of being satisfied with what we have is gone, we tend to look for things that aren’t there or for that matter, are not right for us. There are many other reasons as well which we will discuss and debate over in Pink.
We all remember that moment when our stomachs curled up on the inside, we went weak in the knees and longed for breath when we fell in “love” for the first time. Quite a few of you would be going through that these days as well. Is that really love or mere infatuation? That we will try and explore in this section of Pink. We will volunteer our own experiences and we will also take in your queries and try to give to you the best possible advice that we can while ensuring complete privacy of your identity.
Write to us at [email protected] with one and all of your queries.
Till then remember, what we want isn’t always what we need.
Happy reading! Stay Pink!!
