Death

when there lives no hope,
when there breathes no life,
when there is no light,
with darkness all around,
she grabs onto her existance,
like a ship-wrecked sailor,
battling the strong and mighty ocean.
Maybe she would be saved,
if not by life then perhaps by death,
a dark shadow that passes all,
and spares none,
t would take her away from these
miseries and pain,
from this darkness and keep her sane.
but, when there lives no hope,
death lives on forever,
and when there breathes no life,
death breathes down like a vulture,
for there is no light, as it swoops down,
and shows no mercy!
